Take a relaxing mini-break and immerse yourself in nature at one of our properties, Quinta de Freixieiro, where you will find Casa do Xico. This building is named after our caretaker, its former, long-standing resident, whose family has been with us for many generations.
Enjoy a panoramic view of our vineyards and stroll past the grapes we use to produce our ‘Encosta do Xisto’ vinho verde wine. Because we want you to savour our finest wines on offer during your stay, you’ll receive two bottles of wine – ‘Loureiro’ (white) and ‘Espadeiro’ (rosé) – as a welcome gift.
Location
Located in the village of Guardizela, about 15 minutes from Guimarães and 30 minutes from Porto, Casa do Xico comprises two suites with a private bathroom, a double sofa bed and a full-service bathroom. With room for up to six people, the property also features a living and dining room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room.
You can also take a dip in the saltwater swimming pool, which overlooks our vineyards, and unwind on our lounge chairs. Bath towels are also included.
Other services included: Wi-Fi, parking facilities, and a cleaning service every other day.
